Steve Williz was at our Abuja office to inform us of his new project live recording concert tagged “Music In Me Reloaded” see our brief interview below;
Naijagospelbeats: Tell us about your new project (Music in Me)?
Steve: Music in me is a project that has been on for like two years. I launched the first album in 2012with features like Panam Percy Paul, Samsong, it’s a project that was to come out with a movie, while we are yet to accomplish that project, we decided to do a live recording.
Naijagospelbeats: What should we expect from this project?
Steve: If 2012 was good then expect something better this time. We have a lot of new songs that will bless you. It’s a reloaded version and you know how it is..lol
Naijagospelbeats: How far have you gone with the movie project?
Steve: The movie project is still on-going as you know we don’t have to leave our fans in the dark that’s what gave birth to the Music in Me reloaded which is a live recording concert. The movie will be out soon.
NaijagospelBeats: You were featured in a movie recently, do you act??
Steve: Yes I do, I do all things ..(lol) by the grace of God.
Naijagospelbeats: What should we expectations at MiM?
Steve: Its gonna be an awesome moment in the presence of God. The project will feature Solomon Lange, Samsong, Mista Seth, Promise Benson and you (Naijagospelbeats) and many others. Its gonna be fun.
Naijagospelbeats: Where is the event taking place?
Steve: At the Graceville Christian Centre, the havens, maitama, just after mtn. 21st September, 2014. 9am prompt.
Naijagospelbeats: Is it a free event?
Steve: Yes it is, just get a copy of the CD for only #1000 as a gate pass and then you will be part of the live audience.
Naijagospelbeats: What is your rating of gospel music in Abuja?
Steve: It’s growing very fast. Everyone is putting hands on deck to make it happen.
Naijagospelbeats: What advice do you have for upcoming artist?
Steve: Passion and hardwork should be a driving force. When money comes fine if it doesn’t your passion will keep you going. Be steadfast.
Naijagospelbeats: Any final word?
Steve: Believe in God, yourself and give all you can to the pursuit of your career.
