EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH BISHOPKRIS ON HEALTHY AND CHRISTIAN RELATIONSHIPS

Hello guys, hope you all had a great week. Just to start your week let’s get up and close to another fast rising star. The interview was conducted by Pash of Naijagospelbeats who caught up with BishopKris in Otukpo, Benue State. Excerpt

@Naijagospelbeatspash: What are your full names sir?

@Naijagospelbeatspash : Great, What is your stage name?

Guest: Bishopkris:

@Naijagospelbeatspash : The name BishopKris, how did you come about it?

BK: Actually the name bishopkris was adopted... I didn't give myself that name. May be due to the way I dress and appear all the time, I just found people referring to me as Bishop and I accepted it that way.

@Naijagospelbeatspash : Ok, we do know that the name BishopKris is a household name in gospel entertainment and now we also realized you are a writer. Tell us what inspires your writing?

BK: Well Emm... Most times I sit in a quiet environment and meditate on the tins that happen around me. That is how I get inspired mostly.

@Naijagospelbeatspash How can you personally define a healthy and Christian relationship?
BK: A healthy and Christian relationship to me is that relationship that is not selfish, self centered and that is sex free.

@Naijagospelbeatspash : Wow! Those are powerful words there, so, how can we have a healthy relationship with our partners, taking into consideration the fact that this generation is manipulated by what we hear and see and which makes the hunger for some of this things increase in us?

BK: Emmmm.. I would say the answer to most of these days' situation is MEDITATION. Our youths don't have the time to ponder or meditate over anything anymore. And with the invention of this modern day technology, the case is getting worse. People just go online and explain their problems to the world and before you notice the world gives them advises that they think is best for the situation and thereby they implement what has been learnt through the internet and social networks. So that time to really sit and ponder over situations personally no longer exists within people so the world today can be avoided by meditating on the words of the Lord instead of what we learn from the world.

@Naijagospelbeatspash Ok... But is there a chance for a turnaround for those who may have deviate(d) in a way from how God actually wants our relationships to be?

BK: Of course, there is a great chance! Although the world is going with technology and evil seem to be the trending order of the day but very soon I feel that God will open the eyes of the youths to see and learn to study their parents and learn from them instead of learning from their mates.

@Naijagospelbeatspash : Great! About music sir, we haven't heard from you lately: seems like you are more into other parts of gospel entertainment now. What's happening?

BK: Yes I eeemmmmm... Though I am into other parts such as Drama production, comedy and stage arts but I can't really put music aside. We #WdemSquad are working so hard to come up with some fine tunes very soon. And we hope to really entertain the church and even the world at large.

@Naijagospelbeatspash : Wow...tell us. Who are the WDEM squad?
BK: The WDEM squad are a group of Gospel entertainers. It is the team where I belong. We are just like every other band of musicians but somehow different from the others in terms of operation. We have musicians, comedians and even actors in Wdem squad.
