American Gospel Music icon and multiple award winner, Kim Burrell is set to Visit Nigeria for the AFRICAN MUSIC MINISTER’S CONFERENCE in Lagos, Nigeria scheduled for the 18th – 19th October 2013. According to the Organizers of the event; Sethimoff Music, the celebrated singer, songwriter and performer will be in the country for the 2-Day Conference which will feature capacity building, value adding , life skill development and ability optimization sessions.
In a message released to the public, Mr Bola Mogaji, the Convener said “The conference will discuss you as a music minister, the power you carry and your responsibilities”.
There will be discussion sessions, workshops, session for keyboardist, and a daily jam/worship session to be led by Kim Burrell, Olufunmi, Nene Souldiva, Segun Obe, Obi Shine, Ibitayo Jeje, Funke Akinokun, Amaka Oforbuike and a few others.
Other confirmed speakers and vocalist include: Yoann Freget (France), Nathaniel Bassey, Wole Oni, etc; and at least 70 other confirmed gospel artistes as mentors.
Venues: We will have 2 venues
- on the Island (RCCG Peace Assembly, Water Corporation Road, Off Ligali Ayorinde, Victoria Island),
- on the mainland (yet to be confirmed).
