YEAAAAAAAH, FOR ALL YOU NGB Followers.......

With Greater Than, Tye Tribbett delivers into the genre a much-needed injection of that musical wonderland that only he can create. High-energy abounds in this live 12-track set, full of catchy hooks, infectious rhythms and worshipful moments.
In case it’s not already clear– it’s a must-have. And here are 5 reasons to buy it–
1. “If He Did It Before… Same God.” From the moment that Tye and his crew debuted this tune nationwide on the 2013 Stellar Awards, folks have been buzzing about it. The energy is bananas, the delivery is whimsical, and the anthemic message is a powerful declaration that needs to be added to our repertoire of affirmations.
2. It Translates. Sometimes, a live recording doesn’t translate well to a recorded album. The “moments” that made the recording memorable and impactful can be lost in post-production, or without the visual element. The music on Greater Than invites listeners to create their own experience– if you were at one of the bi-coastal recordings (this project is the culmination of live recordings in Miami and Los Angeles), you’ll remember those “moments.” If you couldn’t make it, though, you can just about feel the energy and intensity of each moment.
3. “Better.” Yikes, this song is good. It’s contemporary but is so steeped in church, it’s a modulation away from a buck and shout. That buck and shout, by the way, does make its way onto the project on the do-not-listen-while-driving hit “He Turned It.”
4. True Artistry. One of the hallmarks of a true artist is that they don’t get so wrapped up in their creativity that none of us can relate. It’s great to explore the boundaries of music, but if you’re exclusive about it, we’re not interested. Tye Tribbett consistently pushes the limits of “gospel music,” but he takes us with him each step of the way, awakening our sensibilities to an entirely different concept of the genre.
5. Greater Than… It’s A Movement. There’s something about these tunes– from the lyrics to the delivery– they’re BIG. They really speak to the idea that God is “greater than…” They echo the greatness of God and compel listeners to worship Him. The project is aptly titled and much-needed in our landscape of music that professes the power and glory of Jesus Christ.
