Let’s get personal?
Well, my name is Pash Tim which is short form for Passion
Timothy. Am a gospel singer and rap artist and I dance when its necessary. I
love what I do and do it with all my heart and that's how the name Passion came
in. Am a Benue born singer from a family of seven (Mom and dad inclusive), two
sisters and two brothers. Was born into a music loving family and that has been
part of my strength. *smiles*
When did Pash start her music career?
Well, have been in the industry for quite some time now, although its been a leg in and another out. *laughs* started singing from age five (5) where I became a lead vocal of a local Methodist Church.
Generally what's your view about the growth of gospel music in Nigeria, In terms of acceptance and promotion?

Generally what's your view about the growth of gospel music in Nigeria, In terms of acceptance and promotion?

Like every industry, there are always challenges. Acceptance is okay if I may say, but promotion is quite frustrating. Promoters tend to need so much money from artists which is quite discouraging especially for those who might not have so much to give and that's what results into hidden talents. So much ministrations/ songs to deliver by upcoming artists but few platforms for promotion.
As a rap artiste what are the challenges for you?
*laughs* I was expecting this one. Well, I'd say apart from promotion, rap music is not generally accepted by everyone. Unlike gospel worship, Rnb and rock; Rap is sometimes been looked upon as a class of music that's not really decent. People see it as a secular class of music (un-Glodly as some churches would term it)
Do you have any single out yet?
Yes I do. Although I haven't made lots of promotions yet.
So far, what has been your fans reaction to the realised singles?
But God is using one of my singles 'No time for Sorrows' where I featured my Elder brother (BishopKris) in making lots of waves right now. I've been so impressed about their reactions. Get so much calls and mails talking about the songs and some peeps even know the verses already. Its been a wonderful experience. Going to places to sing and realizing that some fans can lip sink the verses so well.
What's your definition of fashion?
Fashion is anything that makes you look good. Anything you wear that defines your personality. You don't have to be nude to be an artist especially as a gospel artist. Nudity is a sin and should be avoided. Fashion speaks and anything you wear, makes a statement about you!

Hahahahahaha...read, lay on my bed and think, write songs, watch movies with friends and family and sometimes I do a little of sightseeing.
Who are your role models?
Role model? Truth is I've got none. But there are people that really inspire me. The likes of Frank Edward, Bouqui, kore, Samsong, Tope Alabi, Chris Morgan, Owie abutu, mista seth, King Unachi, BishopKris, Steve Willis, Lara George and Patricia King.
What are you future plans?
My future plans for music: I want to set a standard with Gospel music. A standard that will give gospel music industry a permanent definition of been the Best music industry. Its about time a height is attained where the public will stop seeing gospel artists as people who are below social standard.
Just started a gospel showbiz also Splash Nite Crew (SNC) which is a platform that my crew members and I are trying to use in reaching out to other upcoming artists.
About SNC
SNC is a gospel showbiz crew that is been put out to help upcoming gospel artists using competitions as tools. Its not just meant for gospel singers but also dancers and even comedians. The gospel celebrities are not left out as awards will be giving accordingly during our shows. This gospel showbiz crew is been piloted by Wdem (world deliverance evangelical ministries) which is a non-denominational ministry. God is using the President, Rev. Dr. Timothy Addah who is the chairman of board of directors to push the christian youth into a realm that they want to be especially in entertainment. It was a Vision delivered to me and God so kind, I've got wonderful colleagues who are really making required push. We've got Owie Abutu, BishopKris, Mista Keith, fred williams amongst others.
Is there anything you
want to change about yourself?
Trust me, I wouldn't change a thing!
